Newspaper Nails Manicure |
How To :
- Apply a thin layer of your favorite base coat. Then, apply two coats of any polish in a light to medium shade.
- Find any newspaper on-hand. Cut ten 2" x 1" strips (one for each nail), and set aside.
- Dip the whole nail into a small bowl of rubbing alcohol. Then, dip one newspaper strip into your small bowl of alcohol and shake it out.
- Overlay that newspaper strip directly on the nail bed and don't move!
- Take an alcohol-dampened paper towel and apply light pressure on the nail like a temporary tattoo.
- After 10 full seconds, slowly peel off the strip and you'll see the ink imprint. Repeat this process for each nail.
- Allow nails to dry again for five full minutes, then seal the deal with your favorite top coat.

- Sponge the colour onto your finger nails. Don’t worry too much about getting it on your skin; you can clean it off with remover afterwards.
- then paint a topcoat on your nails to protect.

Striping Tape Nail Tutorial

Striping Tape Nail Tutorial |
How To :
- - Make sure your nails are completely clean. If there's any oil or dirt on your nails, the tape will have a hard time sticking properly.
- - Place strips of striping tape across your nail and double up a few to make thicker lines. Try to make sure the tape is stuck down all the way to the edges.
- - One nail at a time, paint on your colour. Try to choose one that only needs one coat to be opaque.
- - While the polish is still wet, peel off the tape in one smooth motion from one side to the other.
- - Wait until the polish is completely dry and apply your top coat. I didn't wait long enough and you can see the smudges!
- - Use a small paintbrush dipped in acetone to clean up around the edges and there you go!

Nail Art Tutorial With Tapes

Nail Art Tutorial With Tapes |
How To :
- First, paint your tape and then get some decorative edge scissors.
- Paint your nails while you wait for your tape to dry.
- When your tape and your nails are both dry, take your scissors and snip the edge of the tape - and then move your scissors a bit until it makes the design that you want, and again, cut it.
- Be careful - cutting these can be a bit tricky, you actually want to use the sharpest part of your scissors.
- Anyway, stick that on to your nail - I find it best when the nail polish is dry but still a bit soft, as it doesn't make much of a protrusion.
- Snip the excess, top it off with a top coat and then you're done! Easy as pie.

Scotch tape zigzag Nails Tutorial

Scotch tape zigzag Nails Tutorial |
How To :
- Use your pinking sheers to cut out ten strips of tape. You're going to want the tape to have been cut on both sides so it has zig zags.
- Paint your nails one solid color, and let dry completely.
- When your nails are 110% dry apply the small piece of tape across your nail in the middle so that there are equal areas not covered on the top and the bottom.
- Using which ever color you'd like next paint the bottom portion of your nail. It's easiest to start from the bottom of your nail and paint slowly and steadily up to the tape.
- Now paint the top part of your nail starting from the top of the tape to the tip of your nail.
- As soon as you get done painting take the tape off quickly in one solid pull. If you do it slowly it might pull up some of your newly painted polishes. Now repeat with the rest of your fingers and after that's all dry seal it up with a top coat.

Strawberry Inspired Nails |
How To :
- Paint your nails red!
- After the base coat is dry cut ten strips of tape using your pinking sheers. Firmly apply one piece per nail.
- Apply the green polish on the area you left un-taped for the leaves.
- Gently, and slowly pull of the tape. I find my nails turn out best if I take the tape off immediately after painting instead of waiting until my whole hand is done.
- Using your nail art pen or a tooth pick and black nail polish randomly place polka dots on your nails.
- After everything is dry, add a top coat!

Polka Dotted Nails Tutorial

Polka Dotted Nails Tutorial |
How To :
- Begin by painting your nails in black, and the ring finger in red as an accent. Let them dry well elseyou’ll end up getting smudgy polka dots, and that’s not what you want.
- Take a few drops of white nail polish on a piece of plastic. Its easier this way than reaching for the bottle of nail polish every time. Dip the tip of the pin into it and start dotting away.
- For the smaller dots, use the tip of the toothpick. Create patterns on the black nails with white and on the red nail with black.
- Don’t forget to finish off your nails with a nice glossy top coat. It’ll not just make them look good, it’ll also make your efforts lang longer.
