Super Sexy Bun Tutorial

Super Sexy Bun Tutorial

How To :
- Pull your hair back into a high ponytail, tilting your head backwards slightly to make sure the bottom is neat and taut.
- Use a rubber band with two bobby pins attached on it to make the pony extra tight. Just stick one bobby pin into the side of the pony tail, wrap the rubber band around the hair until it's tight, and secure the pony by putting the second bobby pin into the center of the pony.
- Tease the pony.
- Once you're done teasing, hold the pony up and comb the sides lightly to make it appear smooth. Then apply Medium-Hold Hairspray.
- Wind the pony around into a bun shape and secure with pins that go through the bottom of the bun.
- Spray with Medium-Hold Hairspray and then top with Straight and Shine Spray for polish.

      Old Hollywood Waves

      How To :
      - Begin with dry hair parted to the side. Prep hair with a thermal protectant like Hot Off The Press by Paul Mitchell.
      - Curl all of your hair in one direction using a one-inch curling wand. The side with the heavier part will curl towards your face and the other side will curl away from your face. Uniform curls are key to this style! The size of your sections and the way your curl each one should be consistent.
      - Brush through your curls when they have cooled with a boar bristle brush to make them blend together and form a wave .
      - With a comb right under each wave ridge, comb upwards to make the ridge more prominent.
      - Set with your favorite hairspray.

        The Deep Side Part Waves

        How To :
        - Apply a smoothing serum to your hair and grab your blow dryer. Make sure every bit of moisture is out of your hair—this will ensure a longer hold for the curls.
        - Part your hair on the opposite side of where you want the final deep side part to be placed: you’ll get much better volume this way. With a 1.5” curling iron start to curl your hair section by section.
        - Keep curling, section by section, and apply hair spray as you go to ensure hold.
        - Once completely curled, determine where you want to place the deep side part and flip your hair over. Lightly tease a section of hair at your crown for added volume.
        - Take a section of hair from the parted side and separate it into two pieces. Twist the pieces together, adding bits of hair—as though you were French braiding—as you move towards the nape of your neck.
        - Pin the twist at the nape of your neck and use your fingers to comb through the curls, breaking apart the structure. Once your hair is wavy to your liking, add a final spray of hairspray and get ready to enjoy your night!

          - Next, unclip the hair at your crown.
          - Use one hand to hold this section up and the other to tease it at the roots with a fine-tooth comb, making a little pouf.

          - Then anchor the braids to the bottom of the pouf with bobby pins.

            Striping Tape Nail Tutorial

            How To :

            • - Make sure your nails are completely clean. If there's any oil or dirt on your nails, the tape will have a hard time sticking properly.

            • - Place strips of striping tape across your nail and double up a few to make thicker lines. Try to make sure the tape is stuck down all the way to the edges.

            • - One nail at a time, paint on your colour. Try to choose one that only needs one coat to be opaque.

            • - While the polish is still wet, peel off the tape in one smooth motion from one side to the other.

            • - Wait until the polish is completely dry and apply your top coat. I didn't wait long enough and you can see the smudges!

            • - Use a small paintbrush dipped in acetone to clean up around the edges and there you go!

              Nail Art Tutorial With Tapes

              How To :
              - First, paint your tape and then get some decorative edge scissors.
              - Paint your nails while you wait for your tape to dry.
              - When your tape and your nails are both dry, take your scissors and snip the edge of the tape - and then move your scissors a bit until it makes the design that you want, and again, cut it.
              - Be careful - cutting these can be a bit tricky, you actually want to use the sharpest part of your scissors.
              - Anyway, stick that on to your nail - I find it best when the nail polish is dry but still a bit soft, as it doesn't make much of a protrusion.
              - Snip the excess, top it off with a top coat and then you're done! Easy as pie.

                        - Next, create a fishtail braid: Separate the ponytail into two sections.
                        - Hold one section; with your other hand, take a narrow strip of hair from the outside of the other section and bring it over to the one in your hand.
                        - Repeat, incorporating hair from one section into the other until you run out of hair; then secure with another clear elastic.
                        - Finally, with a pair of scissors, carefully cut out the top elastic to give the braid a loose, casual look.
                        - For a more bohemian effect, gently pull the braid apart with your fingers.

                              How To :
                              - Take the top section of your hair in a horseshoe shape and pin it up.
                              - Separate your hair into three equal sections.
                              - Take the center section of hair, create a loop and pin the loop to your head so that it secure. I have a lot of hair, so I had to do two loops.
                              - Take one side of loose hair and pull back. Create another loop and pin it to the rest. Repeat on the opposite side.
                              - Take the top section down and backcomb the crown, using even strokes.
                              - Take the section you just backcombed and brush out the top, smoothing just the top layer. Then curl and pin, leaving volume at the crown.
                              - Curl and pin the remaining sides into the center. I crossed the back two curls over the middle one, to hide those bobby pins.
                              - Spray with hairspray and add any additional pins to make sure your hair is secure.

                                            The Boho Chic Ponytail

                                            How To :
                                            - Curl the top layer of hair with the rest of your hair messy/curly. Mine was kind of curling from no heat curls the night before.
                                            - Tease your hair starting just past your bangs on top, back to where you will secure your ponytail
                                            - Gather your hair in place where you want it, not tight at all, and secure with an elastic.
                                            - Pull tight, then pull out strands as needed to create a “messy on purpose” type of look.
                                            - Wrap an extra piece of hair around the elastic.

                                                          How To :
                                                          - Starting with a side part, french braid the side with more hair. Keep the french braid against your head until you've reached the ear, then continue the braid away from the head.
                                                          - Braid the other side in a loose braid starting at ear height (leave some hair down below the braid to hang over your ears).
                                                          - Pull the braid across the front of your head and pin it in to the french braid so that it is secure across your forehead like a head band (tuck the ends of the braid into the french braid to make it look like one continued braid around the head).
                                                          - Pull the french braid around the back of the head and pin it in to the opposite braid.

                                                            How To :
                                                            - Use a wide-tooth comb to detangle the hair. Use a fine-tooth comb to draw a horizontal line across the crown from the top of one ear to the top of the other ear.
                                                            - From the line, comb the hair forward to the face. Pull the hair in back of the line into a ponytail holder or jaw clip so it stays out of your way. Choose which ear you want the brain to start from.
                                                            - Begin making the braided headband using the hair in front of the part. French-braid (see French braid slide) tightly across the crown and down to the other side, gathering small (1/4- to half-inch) sections from above the part. Once you’ve reached the other ear, secure the braid with a ponytail holder. If you like, tuck it behind the ear and pin it in place with a few bobby pins.
                                                            - Remove the ponytail holder or jaw clip you used earlier and style as you like.

                                                                          - Paint your nails one solid color, and let dry completely.

                                                                          - Using which ever color you'd like next paint the bottom portion of your nail. It's easiest to start from the bottom of your nail and paint slowly and steadily up to the tape.
                                                                          - Now paint the top part of your nail starting from the top of the tape to the tip of your nail.

If you do it slowly it might pull up some of your newly painted polishes. Now repeat with the rest of your fingers and after that's all dry seal it up with a top coat.

Using your pointer and middle fingers, make a “hole” in the middle of the hair above the ponytail holder. With your other hand, flip the end of the ponytail under and up through the hole. Slowly pull the ponytail through. If the ponytail sticks out from the head too much, gently pull the holder down farther to relax the style.
